Important Location Update for Stockyards Boxing Gym Toronto
Stockyard Boxing is permanently located in the George Bell Arena, a stone’s throw from the intersection of St. Clair and Runnymede. However, the arena is currently undergoing renovations and has moved to a temporary location at 4231 Dundas Street West. The gym plans to return to George Bell Arena once renovations are complete in September 2026. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Types of Boxing Classes at Stockyards
Our Toronto boxing club and gym offer structured boxing classes and programs designed for all fitness levels. Every session combines conditioning, technical skill development, punching drills, and performance training, suitable for total beginners to elite athletes alike.
We focus on proper technique, safe sparring, and measurable performance improvement. Here are some of the types of classes our boxing gym offers.
Boxing Basics
Boxing Basics teaches fundamental boxing techniques, including stance, footwork, defensive movement, and proper punching form. This beginner class helps members build coordination, conditioning, and overall physical fitness through cardio.
Visit our beginner’s boxing class, and you’ll use bags, pads, gloves, and professional equipment while learning proper technique with detailed instruction from instructors. This is the perfect place to begin your boxing journey.
Open Boxing Gym
Our open gym offers flexible training hours in a fully equipped facility, including a professional boxing ring and heavy bags.
Members can train independently on drills, strength workouts, conditioning, or additional practice outside of regular classes. This option is ideal for experienced athletes, competitive fighters, or clients preparing for tournaments who want extra access to training.
Technical Boxing
Our technical boxing classes emphasize advanced combinations, defensive strategies, timing, precise footwork, and controlled sparring.
Designed for intermediate and competitive athletes, these sessions prepare fighters for amateur and professional competition. Technical training is rigorous, detail-oriented, and performance-driven.
Youth Boxing
Youth Boxing programs help kids ages 9 to 16 develop discipline, coordination, and athletic skills through structured training.
Young athletes build confidence as they learn the fundamentals of boxing in a positive environment. Our experienced coaches ensure every child receives proper guidance and support as they grow in the sport. We are proud to create an environment where young athletes make friends, build energy, and develop skills that benefit them for life.
Women's Only Boxing
Our Women’s Only Boxing classes provide a welcoming, motivating environment for women of all fitness levels. Each session emphasizes proper technique, conditioning, strength, and confidence-building. Train alongside supportive coaches and like-minded women in empowering group classes designed to challenge you physically and mentally.

Training can include pad work, heavy bag drills, defensive moves, footwork, building combinations, ring strategy, sparring preparation, and boxing-specific strength exercises. You’ll get expert coaching, clear feedback, and a plan to track your progress so you see real results every session.
