Classes We Offer at Stockyards Boxing & Fitness

Our West Toronto gym offers group boxing classes for all ages and skill levels, blending conditioning, technique, and drills. Boxing adds cardio, coordination, and conditioning that the weight room alone can’t build. Small classes ensure coaches focus on your technique, form, and safety.

Our programs include Boxing Basics, Youth Boxing, Personal Training, and Open Gym for independent training. Learn more about our classes below.

Boxing Basics (Beginner Boxing Classes)

Boxing Basics covers stance, footwork, defence, and punching, while building coordination and fitness. Students use bags, pads, and gloves with hands-on coaching. Perfect for beginners.

Open Boxing Gym

Open gym lets members train anytime in a fully equipped space with a boxing ring and heavy bags. Train independently on drills, strength, or conditioning at your own pace.

Youth Boxing

Youth Boxing (ages 9–16) builds confidence, coordination, and discipline. Kids learn boxing skills, progress to conditioning and sparring, and get personalized coaching in a supportive space.

Personal Boxing Training

Private lessons at Stockyards provide one-on-one training with a certified coach, tailored to your goals. Each session focuses on your needs, improving technique, boosting fitness, or preparing for competition with expert guidance.

What Our Members Say

Real results, real community, and a space where hard work and support go hand in hand. Here’s what training at Stockyards is like.

★★★★★

“One of if not the best boxing clubs in Toronto. Coach Richard will get you in fight shape in no time. Come here if you’re serious about boxing.”

★★★★★

“Richard’s boxing achievements are well documented, but what may not be as well-known is his kindness, encouraging manner, clear instruction and professionalism. The pricing is beyond reasonable by today’s standards, and the level of care and attention is second to none. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.”

Marco
★★★★★

“I had such a great time and I’ve never sweat more in my entire life. Great coaches, great vibes. I’m a newbie and they were very nice to me and made me feel welcome.”

Sara
★★★★★

“Fantastically skilled, personable, and fun trainers, amazing facility. You get a vibe of simultaneously serious and fun from when you walk in. I love this place.”

Justin
★★★★★

“My favourite thing about Stockyards is it’s missing that common boxing gym attitude where you walk in and nobody wants to help you or take an interest in your development. Great culture and high level trainers.”

Dave
★★★★★

“Gym atmosphere is easy going and very welcoming! Trainers are well educated, funny and are always mixing things up to keep it interesting. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, Stockyards is definitely a place to check out and grow within.”
